After extensive research for a dentist to do our teeth implants, we narrowed our choices to Dr. Kriebel and one other dentist in San Jose, Costa Rica. We had our consultations with both dentist during our first few days in San Jose and quickly decided that Dr. Kriebel is the better choice. Dr. Kriebel is frank and confident. His confidence is well-deserved because he was able to save the two failed implants that I had done somewhere else years ago. I flew in from Boston to San José to have my veneers changed, and what an experience it was. I arrived on a Saturday and had my first appointment with Dr. Mariano on Monday. The service was excellent from the start — professional, warm, and extremely detail-oriented.
After our initial appointment, I took a short trip to the Caribbean coast and had an incredible time on some of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever visited. Costa Rica itself is an experience of its own — stunning nature, friendly people, and unforgettable moments.

I did research on dentist in Costa Rica, to my surprise it took me two hours to make a decision for Dr kriebel to reconstruct my mouth. 8 implants top and bottom, 3 crowns to match my new teeth on top . Absolutely no pain from start to finish. He is very professional and meticulate , wanting perfection. Everyone in the office is warm and welcoming. Feels like family, recommendations to dine , and even took me there . It’s been a super magical experience. I now have my implants and am so excited. He’s not focus on money, like paying b4 . I had a failed implant, top, near the center. My US dentist said it is possible to have success only if I engage into some experimental dentistry that would cost me a fortune, literally. As I was on vacation in Costa Rica, I thought I would give it a try and trust Dr. Kriebel. Long story short, he did a fantastic job, and 6 months later I want to my US dentist so he would torque test it. I loved to see his face when it showed the implant is solid. I will be always grateful to Dr Kriebel and will be back for my other implant needs.

I recently have extensive oral surgery with Dr. Kriebel and Dr. Rivera. We were referred to Dr. Kriebel's dental office in San Jose Costa Rica for implants. First, we worked with Vivianne (the travel coordinator who was extremely helpful) to coordinate the trip. Prior to leaving the US we were able to speak with Dr. Kriebel about the procedures. He took time to call us and it felt very comfortable. He clearly has your best interests in mind and is adamant about making sure we understood everything. What a wonderful experience we had! Dr. Kriebel was kind, thorough, and saved us from having unnecessary work done that the oral surgeon in US insisted we needed. That type of work ethic is truly appreciated. His work was impeccable! He has a whole team of folks who specialize in many areas. We were impressed with his knowledge and his lengthy explanations of the procedures. And, shockingly, it was practically painless!! It really was an exceptional experience and would highly and with great confidence recommend his practice.
