Dr. Mauricio Fonseca earned his degree as a Doctor of Dental Surgery after completing a 5 year program at the Universidad Latina in Costa Rica. Afterwards, he went on to earn his Master of Science degree upon completing very rigorous 5 year residency program at Pontificia Universidad Católica in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Dr. Fonseca specializes in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and Traumatology.
Given his dedication and talent, Dr. Mauricio Fonseca was selected to represent Costa Rica for the prestigious Academy of Osseointegration CMF international Fellowship in Germany. He was invited to practice in Munich, Germany at the Ludwig Maximilian’s University Head-Neck and Maxilofacial Surgery Clinic under Prof. Dr. Dr. Michael Ehrenfeld. The AO CMF Fellowship is a unique opportunity for surgeons to advance their expertise and experience while actively encouraging an active global network of clinicians promoting excellence in facial surgery and education.

Dr. Mauricio is furthering his education and is currently enrolled in the American College of Maxillofacial Surgeons Facial Cosmetic Surgery Course.
